An award-winning filmmaker, Rachele’s body of work includes short films, VR, series, and features, some seen by millions around the world. Her work across a range of roles on a variety of productions has had her attached to several major studio projects and working closely with some of the most successful Australian and international directors; such as George Lucas, Ridley Scott, James McTeigue and Greg McLean.
A recipient of the 2018 Enterprise People funding by Screen Australia, Rachele has produced several projects with production company Deadhouse films. Her time at the company resulting in projects in collaboration with or distributed by, AMC Networks, Shudder, Stan, Channel Nine, Channel Ten, Pinnacle Films, SyFy Channel, Blackpills, Screen Queensland, Create NSW and Screen Australia.
A prolific filmmaker, her slate of work has resulted in numerous projects nominated at multiple Oscar and BAFTA accredited film festivals; such as Sitges, Raindance, TIFF, Fantastic Fest, Clermont Ferrand, Nashville Film Festival, Flickerfest, Leeds, Hollyshorts and more.
Rachele’s most recent projects include the Shudder anthology sequel Scare Package II, which is due for release in October of this year. The feature film Beast No More, which premiered at Monsterfest in Sydney and was distributed worldwide by Level 33 Entertainment. The epic sci-fi Blade Runner inspired short film Slice Of Life, which won best Sci-Fi at the Oscar accredited LA Shorts and the Georges Méliès Award for Best Special Effects at Sydney’s SciFi Film Festival. As well as producing the Shudder original series Deadhouse Dark, a horror anthology that had its world premiere at Canneseries in 2020. The festival selecting one episode from the series, Mystery box, written and directed by Rachele, to screen at the Grand Palais.
Currently, Rachele is in preparation to direct Wolf Creek 3 with producers Greg McLean, Bianca Martino, and Kristian Moliere. This is the latest instalment in the Wolf Creek franchise and is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
